Lokichiogio Orphan Home

This church orphan home is located in the Turkana District of Kenya. It is in the far northwestern reaches of the country, about 30 kilometers from Sudan.

Currently under construction, the Lokichiogio (Loki for short) church-orphan home will house up to 50 orphans and their caregivers; while also serving as the meeting place for a local church.

Kenya is a republic that has been marred by scandals of government corruption. In recent times, violence has broken out over election results. Opposing parties are accusing each other of election fraud. Fighting has broken out in the streets.

The orphans need a safe place to live. You can be a part of the rescue and care efforts. Please consider how you might be an integral part of saving the lives of these defenseless children.
